News: ‘Paulina P.’ Event for Kids at Collage Collage !
Saturday October 17th from 2-4pm! Paulina Event-FUN!
On Saturday October 17th from 2pm-4pm Erin Boniferro from Collage Collage and myself will be hosting a Paulina Petersen event for kids at Collage Collage which is located on 621 Kingsway and is right on the corner of 15th & Fraser here in Vancouver. We invite you to come and do drawings of things that start with your favorite letter with us, I will read ‘Paulina P. (for Petersen)’ and of course be more than happy to sign copies of the book and answer any questions you should have… about anything really. But please no math word problems about trains and jars of quarters and apples. Also we will be giving out free Paulina Posters fresh off the press! Yey!
By the way, if you haven’t heard of the fabulous fabulous new store-gallery-workshop called ‘Collage Collage’ you should seriously check it out because it is fabulous. … but I’m pretty sure I already mentioned that. If you live in Vancouver and you have kids, or if you are just into cool things and making art or you aren’t yet but you want to learn how to, DO check this place out. It just opened up very recently and is run by Erin Boniferro who is very passionate about what she is doing. She has put a lot of research and effort into this endevour she has undertaken and it sure shows. There are classes for children that could be taken by adults it seems, there is a very cleverly designed art gallery ONLY for kids, and also one not only for kids (phew), jars and jars of extraordinary craft and art supplies and books that I love love love! Last time I was there I purchased two books; one of these was a book I had not even known was out and about illustrated by one of my favorite ever illustrators Marc Boutavant. It is called ‘For just one day‘ and I think it’s the bees knees! So good! Amazing. Ok. I will stop now. GO THERE!
