Lisa Cinar

Lisa Cinar is an illustrator, picture book-fan, dog-petter, pattern-lover and owner at Draw Me A Lion, an online shop of cards, prints and other fun things. Originally from Germany she now calls Vancouver, Canada home.

She has written & illustrated two picture books. The Day It All Blew Away (nominated for the Christie Harris Illustrated Children's Literature Prize in 2008), and Paulina P. for Petersen. She has illustrated Bear's Winter Party - nominated for the Chocolate Lily Award (Groundwood Books, 2016) a picture book by Deborah Hodge, as well as the the new middle grade series Clara Humble (Owl Kids, 2016-2018) by Anna Humphrey. Her most recent work for a companion book to Bear’s Winter Party titled Cooking with Bear (Groundwood Books) is out in spring 2019.
