Are My Sessions for You?
What Is Art Therapy?
Art therapy gives you access to your inner workings in a creative & insightful way!

Art therapy is similar to traditional talk therapy but with the addition of utilizing the creative process to help us access our subconscious! I am here to be your guide as you explore your thoughts, emotions, inner workings and tap into the wisdom of your own unique creative process and knowing.
It's easy to feel isolated in grief, pain and general unease. The creative process can be a true gift in trying times! Often seemingly small things we overlook can show up in sessions and noticing them can make a big impact on our mental health and physical well being! Think of art therapy as the creative, cool aunt of regular talk therapy. And yes, we do also talk in sessions but often less because that's just the baseline. Art therapy also really values the therapeutic connection between you and your therapist. So we'll meet prior to starting sessions to ensure it's a good match before we get started!
Does this sound interesting to you? Let me support you by making the terms "art" and "therapy" a lot less intimidating, a lot more creative and maybe even a lot more enjoyable that you might have thought! Absolutely no previous art skills are required!
* Please note: I am currently only working with adults 18 +

Why choose me as your art therapist?
I have been working in the creative field for over two decades and know how to guide you through the creative process in a nonjudgmental, open, accessible and enjoyable way.
I genuinely love to resource folks and I I believe that everyone is creative at heart—no exceptions! Let me show you!
I view sessions as a team effort where your input, open mind and commitment is required. Every session is structured around your personal preferences, needs and abilities. We both get to create this space together.
If you're here because you are grieving a companion animal: I have first hand experience with loosing my beloved dog, who was the catalyst to make normalizing grieving companion animals one of the priorities in my practice.
If you're here because of fibromyalgia or another type of invisible disability or chronic pain: I have personal experience with fibromyalgia—a form of both—and am finally at a point in my life where I have learned how to manage this condition. Due to my personal healing journey I also have extensive personal knowledge of other holistic modalities and best-practices for pain management such as qigong, and somatics.
If you're here looking to re-align or unstuck: I believe that you hold the key to unlock that door—I'm just here to help you find the key. And—I got a flashlight! :)

This outlook applies to both single sessions as well as bundles, when choosing the Introductory Session Bundle, you will even receive a short pdf document of your unique toolkit go-to's to take with you at the end of our last session. That way it's easy to access when you need it next!
